CMS, HRSA, and the PA Office of Rural Health have been visiting rural health facilities to actively listen to concerns, challenges, and successes in providing health care to rural communities. They are seeing and conducting listening sessions with rural facilities nationwide and engaging with individuals, organizations, and government entities to shape the framework. This framework aims to provide an integrated, action-oriented approach toward advancing health equity among historically underserved or disadvantaged members of communities and for providers, plans, and other organizations serving such communities.
River Valley Health is committed to providing quality care to all members of our community, especially those in rural areas. We appreciate the opportunity to engage with CMS, HRSA, and the PA Office of Rural Health to discuss how we can continue to improve our services and meet the needs of our patients. We look forward to working together to advance health equity and promote better health outcomes for all.
