“What inspires me most to work at River Valley Health is serving the underserved. Growing up in Clinton County, it was evident there were major gaps in health care. A large majority of the Clinton County population is either uninsured, underinsured, on VA/military plans, or on Medicare/Medicaid. Unfortunately, not all of these insurances are accepted by most of our local healthcare facilities. Because of this, I am proud to work for River Valley Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, that accepts over thirty different insurances and offers a sliding scale fee discount program for those uninsured. Closing Clinton County’s health care gaps is what motivates me daily.”

I enjoy the day-to-day walk with meeting new people within the River Valley Family and the patients that come in for care.  Learning what each and every patient needs and being able to assist them with care is a reward. Building bridges within the community of the work staff is a refreshing piece to the puzzle during a busy day.
