Who we are
River Valley Health is a mission focused healthcare provider, working to build health in our community by bridging gaps that get in the way of access to quality healthcare for every person. We understand that barriers like finances, transportation, and other social and environmental factors can sometimes stand in the way of living the healthiest life possible. Our person-centered approach to care addresses all of the factors that affect a person’s health and wellbeing, inside and outside the exam room.
River Valley Health
is a 501c3 non-profit, federally qualified health center dedicated to serving over 17,000 residents of Lycoming and Clinton Counties each year. Originally part of the Susquehanna Health System, now known
as UPMC Northcentral PA, River Valley Health operated as two separate departments within that system.

In 2011,
River Valley Health transitioned to an independent organization, governed by a community board comprised 51% of River Valley Health patients.
Since its independence,
River Valley Health has experienced tremendous growth in both its facilities and the services it provides.
